Announcing $170 million in new funding

Series C

We raised $170M in a Series C funding round led by Hemant Taneja at General Catalyst, with new and existing investors like Baillie Gifford, Lachy Groom, J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, Sequoia Capital, and WndrCo.

We rebuilt networking infrastructure—routing, switching, and wireless—from the ground up to be more performant, reliable, and secure. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive today. And a fast-growing number of channel partners—CDW, Microsoft, and WWT, for example—are bringing our solution to a wider customer base.

The last networking company

Our bet with Meter is simple: we’ll all use the internet more than we do today. The only way this growth holds together is if the networking infrastructure, the invisible plumbing of every application, space, and data center, stays ahead of demand. We’re building beautiful infrastructure for networks of every size, from a single office to an entire data center. We’re not the first networking company, but our aim is to be the last.
