Meter hardware datasheet & comparisons
When you become a Meter Network customer, your space is equipped with Meter Hardware including our controller and access points. We design our hardware to provide the best security and reliability for the network. All hardware installation and upgrade costs are included in your monthly rate, so you don’t have to worry about paying anything up-front or making trade-offs for optimal performance.
While the hardware that we use is critical for providing fast, reliable, and secure internet, the Meter difference lies in the custom software that we integrate into the physical network.
Meter Controller

Meter Controller is the heart of your network, enabling wired and wireless clients to access the local network and the internet. It acts as the DHCP/DNS/Gateway for the Meter Wireless Access Points. We typically install one controller per site.
Meter Wireless Access Points

Meter Wireless Access Points (APs) contain radios that transmit data to devices. Each AP is equipped with 2 radios (2.4GHz, 5GHz frequencies); the majority of devices run on 5GHz, while 2.4GHz is legacy. We aim to optimize the number and placement of APs to suit your specific space and needs, accounting for potential differences in building materials, room size, etc.
Meter Wireless Access Points vs. others
Meter hardware is best-in-class and uses the same manufacturing partners as comparable hardware vendors.
