This is a hybrid role based out of our SF office. Our in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday.

About the role

Meter’s mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. The Product Operations team delivers on that goal by building and operating systems that seamlessly deliver Meter networks to customers at scale. In 2022, we deployed Meter’s wifi and internet products across hundreds of customer sites in the US and Canada. We have developed the operational capacity necessary to meet customer demand anywhere in North America, and to provide experiences that turn customers into strong advocates for Meter.

We must continue increasing Meter’s operational capacity to match the ongoing growth we expect of our business. To do so, we are hiring an Operations Program Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who is excited to join an agile team, work cross-functionally, and implement and refine the runbooks we’ve developed to make deployments scalable and high quality.

In your first six to twelve months in this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for deployments of Meter’s product across millions of square feet of commercial real estate
  • Accelerate the growth of operational capacity by training project coordinators
  • Drive efficiency by improving our workflows across Asana, Zendesk, Airtable, and other tools
  • Reduce Meter's cost-base and improve deployment quality by nurturing partnerships with installation vendors
  • Ensure stellar customer experiences at scale through working cross-functional across sales, customer success, technical support, and engineering

You might be a good fit if:

  • You are a systems thinker. You are excited to develop frameworks and drive forward on decisions to help us scale
  • You put the customer first. You take pride in being diligent, thoughtful, and detail-oriented
  • You love learning. Although you likely won’t come from a background in networking or Wi-Fi, you have the appetite and desire to learn about this technical field
  • You are a strong cross-functional communicator and contributor. You are adept at working across internal teams (sales, customer support, engineering), external partners (installation vendors, property managers), and customers
  • No prior experience in WiFi or networking is needed. Prior experience in operations program or project management is a plus, but not necessary – diligence, motivation, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn are more important
