Meter’s mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. Our customers chose Meter for a simple, seamless network experience. Our Technical Support Engineering team is critical to meeting this expectation. The team is small but growing, and as an early member you will have a large impact in forming the foundation of the Technical Support Engineering team and role.

This is a hybrid role based our of our SF office. The schedule is Thurs-Mon from 9-6pm PT.

You will have impact by:

  • Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving wireless, switching and other networking issues reported by customers
  • Partnering with Engineering and Product Management to escalate and resolve critical bugs
  • Using technical experience to write internal and customer facing knowledge base articles
  • Partnering with FAE and Operations teams to assist in configuration changes and documentation for new deployments
  • Documenting network changes
  • Acquiring and analyzing wired and wireless packet captures to analyze root causes of issues

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support
  • Troubleshooting skills and experience supporting a networking product (wireless experience is a plus)
  • A thorough understanding of computer networking fundamentals and Wi-Fi
  • Proficiency in the following areas: Linux, Wireshark packet captures, basic bash or Python scripting
  • Experience supporting technical teams (e.g., developers and/or IT teams)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to navigate complex issues in high pressure situations
  • The ability to effectively collaborate with various internal teams

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

We're looking for an organized, ambitious, and detail-oriented office manager to run Meter's San Francisco office. You will also partner with a member of our leadership team as their Executive Assistant.

In this role, you’ll be joining a small team of passionate operations experts who are focused on driving the highest leverage internal projects for Meter with a very high bar for quality. The expectations in this role are high and you’ll be bolstered by an empathetic and cohesive team along the way.

  • Office Manager responsibilities:
  • Owning the day-to-day management for our office and, more importantly, our office culture
  • Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for employees and guests who come into the office and in your work supporting other programs, like onboarding, events, etc.

We are looking for our first field marketing manager to help accelerate our growth and brand awareness. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build out this new function, establish our field marketing strategy, and help drive new business and the adoption of Meter’s products and services. You will work closely with Meter’s founders and cross-functional leadership teams – sales, partnerships, product, customer success, and design.

Territory Manager
