As Meter’s Accounting & Financial Operations Lead, you’ll be expected to design and create the tools, processes and culture of our financial operations. You will report directly to Meter’s Head of Finance, working closely with Meter’s founders and other leaders across Sales & Partnerships, Customer Success, and Operations.

You will have an impact by

  • Building financial operations infrastructure (e.g. ERP, Q2C) from the ground up for a business operating across multiple pieces of a value chain
  • Collaborating with cross functional partners to create efficient processes that best enable them to support our stakeholders (customers, vendors, employees, capital partners)
  • Providing insights into business performance that allow Meter to deploy resources with against the highest ROI activities
  • Being a functional leader leader at Meter, helping to set the foundation for Meter and the team’s future growth

Product Operations Lead - Connect

About the role

Meter’s mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. One of our products – Meter Connect – helps businesses procure and manage internet for all their locations, via Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The Connect Operations team is responsible for building and operating the systems that allow us to deliver connectivity to our customers at scale. In 2022 alone, we ordered, installed and supported hundreds of ISP connections for our customers across the US and Canada.

Increasing our operational capacity and throughput for ISPs will be critical to unlocking ongoing growth for Meter’s business - every Meter Network must be powered by an ISP. We are hiring a Product Operations Lead to spearhead this effort, and more broadly turn Connect Operations into a strategic differentiator for Meter. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to scale our existing function and broaden its surface area.

In your first six to twelve months in this role, you will have an impact by

  • Assuming responsibility for Meter’s Connect Operations function, which orders, installs and manages ISP connections to all our Meter Network and Meter Connect customers
  • Increasing our operational capacity by an order of magnitude, by designing new processes, leveraging new tools, and onboarding and training project coordinators
  • Expanding the scope of Connect Operations beyond our focus today to drive new areas of impact for customers
  • Working with ISP partners, and cross-functionally across sales, customer success, technical support, and engineering, to drive high quality customer outcomes
